In 2020 Klimawald Bayreuth was awarded the Blauer Kompass of the Federal Environmental Agency.
With the "Blauer Kompass" award, the Federal Environment Agency annually honors projects dealing with the consequences of climate change. Klimawald Bayreuth was awarded the price in the category of "Research and Educational Institutions" in 2020.
